CURIUM has conducted a contamination diagnosis for a pharmaceutical laboratory in Austria, which is plagued by contamination from foreign products unrelated to experimental activities. The customer has taken samples before, but cannot determine the source of the biological contamination.

CURIUM studied the layout of the laboratory and ventilation system, as well as the sample analysis and sampling plan it developed to identify pollution sources. After detecting the source of pollution in the laboratory, a report was issued to the client, which included suggestions on how to avoid future pollution.
