The consortium of CURIUM and R&R IWS CHEMICALS from Suez, France, won the bid for "Packaging and Disposal Services for Napalm Bomb Waste - Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Albania" in 2016.

CURIUM is responsible for the construction of the project, which includes repackaging, storing, and disposing/recycling products for producing napalm bombs: a composite of aluminum and xylene.

There are 112 tons of aluminum and 28 tons of xylene stored at the project site. They are located in 5 locations within Albania.

CURIUM has established operational and safety rules based on the product and location. After packaging is completed, these wastes are transported by R&R IWS CHEMICALS, a French company based on cross-border transportation regulations for hazardous products, and stored at their disposal site in France.
