Before demolishing the former Marie Curie laboratory located in Arcueil, CURIUM conducted radioactive and chemical characterization of unknown liquids and solids stored underground at the location, providing a basis for the management of the French National Radioactive Waste Management Agency.

CURIUM's tasks include counting and registering, designing processes for chemical and radioactive substance identification, and using packaging that meets regulatory requirements. All methods and operations have been recognized by the French National Radioactive Waste Management Agency.

In order to complete the qualitative analysis and preprocessing of positional products, CURIUM has established a temporary laboratory on site that complies with regulations. Gas supply SCBA was used in the project operation.
