The temporary storage point for hazardous waste refers to the place designated by HJ1259 as a hazardous waste registration and management unit, which is specifically used for storing hazardous waste in the same production and operation site; Units that generate hazardous waste are located near production lines for temporary storage and transfer of the hazardous waste they produce.
Outside the fence, it is necessary to paste hazardous waste storage zoning signs, hazardous waste storage, utilization, and disposal facility signs, hazardous waste signage and system signs, as well as warning icons for hazardous waste storage and disposal sites.
Temporary storage point management requirements:
1. Temporary storage points should have fixed area boundaries and measures should be taken to isolate them from other areas;
2. Temporary storage points should take measures such as wind, rain, sun protection, and prevention of hazardous waste loss and scattering;
3. Hazardous waste stored in temporary storage points should be placed in containers or packaging materials and should not be directly scattered;
4. Temporary storage points should adopt pollution prevention and control measures such as anti-seepage and leakage prevention, or use devices with corresponding functions;
5. The temporary storage point should promptly clear and store hazardous waste, and the real-time storage capacity should not exceed 3 tons.
Hazardous waste temporary storage room
Standard for setting up hazardous waste temporary storage rooms:
1. It should be independent, sealed, locked for theft prevention, and there should be safety lighting facilities and observation windows in the temporary storage room. The management responsibility system for hazardous waste temporary storage room should be on the wall;
2. The ground of the temporary storage room should be impermeable, and the top should be waterproof and sun proof; The ground and skirt feet should be constructed with sturdy and impermeable materials, the building materials must be compatible with hazardous waste, and a cofferdam should be set up at the entrance;
3. There must be a leakage liquid collection device (such as tray, diversion ditch, collection pool) in the temporary storage room where hazardous waste is stored as liquid. There must be an outlet and a gas purification device in the temporary storage room where hazardous waste is stored as volatile gas;
3. Storage area signs, hazardous waste identification signs, hazardous waste system signs, and new hazardous waste facility signs containing all hazardous waste should be posted outside the temporary storage room. Corresponding hazardous waste identification signs and system signs should be posted on the walls of the temporary storage room. Hazardous waste that cannot be loaded into commonly used containers can be contained in leak proof plastic bags, with labels on packaging drums and bags;
4. Hazardous waste and general solid waste cannot be stored together, and different hazardous wastes should be stored separately and separated.
